Well, call me a follower. I have officially joined the Blogging world. In my defense, my New Year's resolution is to keep a journal (or something like unto it). I have found that Blogging is a "hip" way to keep people updated in my life, and who knows it might be fun.
In making this blog I was conflicted on what to call it. I wanted it to be something that I could truly identify with and enjoy. I didn't want it to be the obvious "the day in the life of (insert name)." There are several components making up the name of this blog. Firstly, last Fall, a roommate had condemned me to hell for "worshiping" Star Wars. I thought this was very amusing. Never before had I been told I was going to hell, and for something as silly as Star Wars?! It makes me laugh. Secondly, my hair has been turning less and less blonde (one might say it is going to the dark side). My sister has been teasing me relentlessly on the color of my hair saying, "it can't decided if it wants to be blonde or brown." She then started calling my hair color "dishwater blonde" (whatever that means). Thirdly, if I were to have 3 wishes from a genie one of them would be to have the power of the force. Fourthly, if a theme song were to play every time I entered a room it would definitely have to be the Imperial March (Darth Vader's Theme). Something about that score just emanates power, something I would like to have. I have often said if given the choice between jedi and sith I would definitely choose sith. Lastly, the name Darth means dark. Darth Vader translates to dark father. Thus my name Darth Blonde would literally mean dark blonde. Hence my blog name was born.
What will this blog entail you may be asking? Well, I don't really know to be quite honest. I want this blog to be a hybrid between a blog and a vlog. I enjoy filming and writing and can't really decide between the two. So as Miley Cirus says have "The Best of Both Worlds" (yes I did just quote a Miley Cirus, but not to worry there will be no more. I promise). Most of it will consist of experiences I will be going through this upcoming year, but I will also recount several stories from my past that pop into my head or relate to current issues.
